The new educational spaces at Agora Lledó have been designed inspired by the landscape that surrounds the educational community.

The landscape as inspiration of the Concept Design

The environment around the school is used a source of inspiration, but also a tool that allows to connect the students more closely with their surroundings. The senses are the gateway to the direct experience of what is familiar and close in time and space.

Spiral of growth

LA CUIDAD - The city

The following diagram shows the proposed phasing of the school. The launch phase features the central core area that continues from floor -1 to the top floor 2.

Inspired by the city, the spaces in the basement, offer a more rigorous structure, with straight lines and a clear orthogonality. The routes are more linear and lead through different spaces that, thanks to collaboration, excitement and the unexpected, evoke the urban structure. The tones and materials used in these spaces range from vibrant yellows to warm oranges, reminding of the city of Castellón - which is familiar to the school community. Incorporating bluish tones that refer to the different shades of the sky during the different hours of the day as well as greens give the basement a more natural feeling. This learning environments inspired by the city, incorporates diversity, technology and innovation as well as inclusive spaces that encourage the exchange of ideas and collaboration among students.

NATURALEZA - The nature

Immersed in nature, surrounded by orange groves and close to the mountains and the desert of Las Palmas, the mountain-inspired spaces are spaces that seek to encourage the connection with nature and the activation of the senses. Organic shapes have been used in the design of these spaces that align with the contours of the mountainous landscape surrounding Ágora Lledó, creating a sense of harmony and balance. By placing the body in new positions, presence and assertive communication with others is encouraged. The color palette used in these spaces is inspired by the tree-covered mountains and orange plantations, and ranges from shades of green to orange. This color scheme underscores the design idea of awareness and socialization, and helps to create a relaxing and natural environment that encourages learning and interaction.

LA COSTA - The coast

The Mediterranean Sea is an inland sea that connects three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. This privileged position has allowed the development of diverse civilizations and cultures throughout history. The spaces inspired by the Mediterranean seek to offer a unique educational environment that is relaxing and enriching, where the exchange of knowledge conveys the historical cultural exchanges and the gentle movements and paths refer to the currents of the sea. In these spaces, elements and materials that evoke the sea are used, such as shades of blue and green, light woods and natural materials. The designs tend to be fluid and organic, with curves and shapes reminiscent of the waves and rocks of the Mediterranean coast. Another characteristic of the Mediterranean that we incorporate into the spaces is its unique light, which is reflected in the sea and on the coast.
